I really liked both of the panels, I especially liked the choice of the word used because it has two entirely different yet purposeful meanings when inverted. I'm a little jealous I hadn't have thought of that. I really love the bottom panels use of the cigarette smoke as a gateway for placing images. With each panel my eye feels guided around the photo, I don't find myself searching around it, it feels organic the way each piece was composed. Well done!
I really like the use of the backwards words in these two pics, that was quite clever and I think that the effects in both of them display the different meanings. I am reminded of how we were talking about advertising and reality in class and both of these make me think of posters. The "Evil" side seems like a trippy poster for an rock concert, especially with the bright, strange colors. The "live" side makes me think of a poster for a either a movie or stage production or for a city to attract tourism. mostly from the city in the background and how the word 'live' is placed.
I really liked the idea of having "evil" and "live", and you can definitely tell that both of the compositions are using the same image. Both definitely have a different feel about them, and I really like that about this work. The one on top gives a more energetic feeling, while the one on bottom gives a more cold, relaxing kind of feeling.
